Quoting doesn't require talent! Most people probably don't even realise that being quoted is not always a fun thing. Let's take Skull for example. He told some lies in the past and later it was proved that what he said was absolute bullcrap. Now I don't think Skull would enjoy seeing those lies being quoted to remind everyone of his mistakes. Another good example would be myself. "Grrr late news cheap monney" - Erwin. I don't know for sure why this got quoted but I said this when my English wasn't as good as it is now. I just wanted to call redink1 a cheap bast*rd but I didn't know exactly how to do so. To make it worse I misspelled 'money'.

Exactly why quoting was stopped.

I'm not so sure about that. Quotation will probably sneak up upon you and strike when you least expect it.
