After some interesting conversation in the Dink Network chat, I've started working on a fully open Quest Log script for any Dmodder to use once it's available. So I've created this thread specifically for anything related to the quest log.
The quest log (Item) will be used for checking your progress through a Dmod, much like a personal journal would document one's day or events.
Most of the starting script has been sorted, and fully commented so people can modify it to suit their Dmod and how they'd like it to be used.
Expected Features:
~~Customised Choice menu, select each Log entry from the title
~~Commented script so DModders can easilly suit each entry to their mod
~~Images of an open book for reading the entry of your choice (up to 20 entries/blank images for text to be added for the enry)
This is obviously going to be a difficult project, so I won't post an expected release date. I can sort most of this out myself, but if I need any help I'll try to look it up before asking.
