@TGA: I gave up trying to read all of the posts taht appeared after 20 hours of not checking the DN because this thread got oversized, but hopefully you've calmed down now.
And anyway, IRC isn't software or a program, its just a network with servers, and Requires programs to access it.
If you don't want IRC opening up random ports, then just have it open a single port and don't access anything on IRC except for the Dink chat.
Heck, I don't even have a use for IRC other than the Dinkchat tbh.
