The Dink Network

@TGA IRC is just a huge server where thousands of people go to chat together from all over the world - cant remember exactly but i think IRC means something like Internet relay chat - The server dink chat uses has over 5 and 1/2 thousand different "rooms" to chat in. You use a program like Scratcher suggests (mirc is another I have used - hate it lol) and if you check your preferences (how you set the program up to behave) before you log on (like do not set them to request or accept any file someone plays automatically) you will not run into any problems - as they cant send u files against your will (you have to literally click accept) unlike on the internet.... as Scratcher says its way safer than browsing or surfing.
