Hack and slash? Have you played Neverwinter Nights Dethlord? It is more combat orientated than Morrowind, but it was created largely for mod creation (as Dink was) and so you must appreciate that while some things are hack and slash, the best are not.

Err...I said that NN was better than Morrowind, which in my fairly large RPG experience, it is.
