Yeh, it is possible to do that, but the problem with that is when videos are uploaded to youtube they are converted to .flv format. So downloading them in that format, then converting them back to whatever format is needed to re-upload them to youtube will reduce the quality of the videos. However, I might be able to recover them from my computer as well, hopefully.
