The people of Windmere worship ducks because they used to stuff their pillows with the feathers. And baked their food in duck fat. basically everything of their lives where thanks to the ducks. and finally in the end someone said "a creature that gives so much good had to be a god". everybody in town agreed and so they started to worship ducks.
