I couldn't possibly not add something to this thread... cats are definetly the love of my life.
And I'm happy to hear most of you share my love for felines, but still many falsehoods were written here.
Cats care about their own, that's their only way of surviving. In nature all animals to behave to survive. Dogs' survival depends on their being a part of a group, they wouldn't do well as individual hunters, like cats. Dogs are much louder and less secretive, so they depend on groups.
Cats look only after themselves, and they do it with much cruelty. It's a mystery how they look on humans, but it's obivious they use us, just as we use them
. That's why I think a relationship with a cat is more special.
