If you're stuck with that you can't enter the place with all the ducks: Blow up a certain rock with a bomb, I'll leave it to you to figure out which one...

talk to the tree in the south west and buy some bombs to get to the dugs and talk to the people or go to: solutions.dinknetwork.com
Easy 
(i beat the game more then 10 years ago, but i can remember what to do
1. buy a bomb @ the weapon store
2. go to the ducks altar
3. place the bomb @ the broken stone
4. kill all the ducks
5. than will come a guy & girl (i dont remember her name).
6. than the ducks altar wil disappear, and there will be a DINK SMALLWOOD altar instead (NICE)
Then the bridge is restored, so you can go back and finish the rest of the game.
