well, a dmod is another version of a dink smallwood game, you download them, and you play them, they have story lines, weapons, items, characters, etc. its pretty easy to make your own dmod, took me a month and a half to learn how > . To install a dmod, just extract all the folders in your main dink folder, then go into a program called DinkFrontEnd (it should be in your main dink folder), and then select the dmod you just downloaded, and play it. There are a zillion different dmods, cuz they are fun to make and fun to play and are easy to make after a little bit of practice. need more info?

Well, fire up DinkFrontEnd, "Run with the Following Dmod" and play Mysery Island. Dmods are like that.

No. The only d-mod that supports transferring your character data is The Catacombs by Paul. Besides, it would be very difficutl to balance out a d-mod if this would have been the case. Most d-mods present you with a level 1 weak Dink and build up from there.
