After copying and pasting the necessary files; when I start the game, I'M back in my house with ALL my shoot with me.
This CAN'T be right. What do I do now?

Do you mean out of the house? Yes, I'm on the plateau again.

Then you did not replace the map
Both dink.dat and map.dat should be replaced

Or you might have the same kind of bug that I once had with this game too. However, in my case, the map file was just right, but the screens were in a... disorder, making it impossible to progress in the game. I got over the bug by just simply waiting and doing nothing a couple of months and, tadah, the bug was gone.
