I got past the three idols and then to a room with 2 bane boncas and then opens the chest but i still have NO key...am i missing a step ?

Please post questions about D-Mods in the appropriate File Discussion forum next time, or at least put the D-Mod name in the message and/or subject somewhere so we know what you're talking about. Fortunately, I recognize bane boncas.

Are you sure you don't have the key? It doesn't appear in the inventory in the current version, but you should have seen the text "Got Key" or the like after openening the chest.

Just go to the north-west corner of the dungeon, and you should be able to follow S Club 7.
