The Dink Network

Well this isn't the most common of problems but every midi I play irrespective of the program I open it with nothing happens, I mean I am not able to hear any sound. Every other type of files wav,mp3 all play nicely but just not midis.
If someone has any idea please tell me.

Hmm. Try opening the Volume Control window (it looks like this, and should be in the Control Panel somewhere). Make sure the MIDI / SW Synth control is not muted and such.

My midi music playback default device was set to Creative SoundBlaster MPU-401 I just changed it into the other option Microsoft Wavetable
Synth and the midis started playing.
