I can't figure out how to beat the purple bonca in the optional dungeon. Can anyone help?

Let me see if I remember that one... The place w/ the rock, yeah? You just have to time it right I think. Taking a lot of those nuts doesn't hurt either. Just make sure to never get of and re-enter the screen, as then his hit points will be replenished.

I must have missed where to get those nuts. Was that in the beginning where is mom asks him to get the alk tree nuts?

Yeah, there is a tree around town. If you get frustrated trying to get the nuts, well, when I get frustrated, I hit things, I think...
