I tried playing Dink Smallwood with Wine in Linux, and to my surprise it started up and worked fairly well, except for one thing: all the translucent pixels of sprites become white instead of translucent, like so:

This is tested with a very recent version of Wine, and I think this is version 1.07 of Dink.
Has anyone else had weird effects with Wine, or maybe more success with running the game in it?

Ok, so the image didn't work and I can't edit the post because I didn't make an account.
The URL of the image is this, just copypaste it in the address bar:

Search a little, willya? Thread about running Dink in WINE.
EDIT:
Oh, and I've tried, and you got luckier than I. I just got no sprites/backgrounds at all. Just pure white. Pretty pointless, so I gave up.
