Island In Dink Smallwood Main Game
I was just thinking back to the original Dink, where, S/E of the guy who sells you the magic boots, there is an island with lots of gold, 1 megapotion, 1 of the 3 individual stat potions, and a golden heart.
Is there a possible way to get there, or is it just a way to tease players?

No, you can get there. To get there do this: From the screen with the fruittree south of Windemere(which can talk to you) go two screens east, then go south, you'll be able to walk on the water at some place on that screen.
You've got to look for two vertical lines of sea shells, that look like a path themselves. Then continue walking that path from the sand through the sea onto the secret island.
If my memory serves me right, the fish present in that screen serves as a landmark for the secret path, too.
