IMHO, original ones are always the best.

Erm, yes. As in created by the author of the DMOD. Or even one of his friends. Actually, as in one that hasn't been heard by the general public before.

That's always cool, but not everybody knows how to do it, or want to do it, or is creative enough to do it (all 3 go for me! )

It's very difficult, I think, to tell someone elss what midi's he should use, since it's so personal, and how do we know what kinda D-mod it is? But I guess non original music is always better then no music at all.

Making your own original midi's can be good, but hardly anyone can make them...and even fewer can make good ones. I'd suggest using old video game midis (Streetfighter, Streets of Rage, Megaman,) as most Dinkers don't use those too much (though I do!). Try and avoid ChronoTrigger and FF7...people use them too often, though you may find a beauty that people haven't used.

Hope that helps...

Yeah, after having had this discussion about making your own, we're finally up to answering UFO87's question!

Just check this board, there are midi packs available, or try the Internet, and use a search machine to find free music/midi's.
