Private Message system
I've recently been using the PM-system again and I have to remark a few things. Here they are:
1) Inbox is sorted by time of arrival, newest first, but Outbox is sorted oldest first. I prefer the Inbox-way, scrolling down isn't really much fun to me
2) Messages in the Outbox aren't deleted when the other user has read them (the description says they are, but I like this anyway), but there is no way to see what messages can be unsent and what messages cannot.

Yep, both of your remarks are very valid. If I wasn't sure that the new site would be operational sometime this year, I would make those changes.
The new private messaging service will be a new forum. However only the sender and receiver(s) can see a topic. You'll also be able to send messages to multiple people, and everyone participates under the same topic.
You won't be able to delete or unsend messages, but you will be able to modify.
