Making new MIDI pack
Okay there boys and girls, I am making a MIDI pack with all new MIDIs for Dink and other... stuff!
They're from everywhere and since I will only add in the best quality MIDIs it won't have the crap MIDIs that 3/4 of 374pack had!
You can expect it in a week or so, when I am content enough with it.

Midi packs aren't allowed unless you created all midi's originally yourself.
Really? What about the 374 MIDI pack then?
I also checked if I have permission to post the MIDIs, and most are PD and for some others I have the rights to publish them. I checked the pack and I think I'm safe. In fact, the pack is already finished!

They aren't allowed because then we'll have hundrerds of unoriginal midi packs. Just make them yourself, everyone can rip midis from the net.
The 374 midi pack is old, back then we didn't have this rule yet
This rule is devised after the 374 midipack (and many others).
Back then (long ago, when I was only reading and not posting), people could get points for releasing files and writing reviews, and a shootload of crappy files were released just to gain points. Because midipacks were still allowed, the easiest thing would be to download every midi from vgmusic.com and release it in one file (or several "game music packs"). Thank god this never happened, but you get the idea of downloading midi's and releasing them.
If, however, you composed all midi's yourself, it is allowed. Check the submit rule page.
EDIT: Basically what Christiaan says

Woops. Accidentallyposted it anyway. Ah well, it will be rejected anyway.
Though, you could make a dmod with 3 undecorated screens in it just to show the midis you downloaded
