The Dink Network

I just read the thread on changing my name.

I would like to thank all of those who stood up for me, and said a word about it.

And, of course, a special thanks go to Redink1!

It's nice to notice that not all of you thought something about the name.

Neither did I at first, but others do, and some mailed me about it, so it's not just DethLord saying something about it.

In fact, because he posted that question on the board, he gave me a change to explain about it - and as a result I decided I had to change that name, since it doesn't feel good when others mistake that name for something else - no matter what I (or others) might think of it.

It's ok bin!! I didn't notice the similarity until Dethlord pointed it out, and I always thought it was a bit silly to say the least.

But we love you, and I don't think a name change is needed, despite what some crazy people may think.

BTW ~ I'm gonna be real nice to everybody now, as I got yet another abusive e-mail from WC and I can't be bothered with him anymore, so if I do nothing wrong, he can't tell me off right?

I haven't done anything wrong anyway, but WC seems to think I always post rubbish on this board...oh well.

I don't think bin needs to change his name either. I just think that in veiw of the circumstances he should be able to if he wants to. And no, SabreTrout, I don't think you have done anything wrong, It's just that WC seems to like to nip trouble in the bud

Cheers TrayC! You are right, bin's name is fine, and only a few people can see any link to a certain bad person in that name. And as for WC, I'll just be good and laugh as he tries to find little things to have a go at me about. Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaa!

I had nothing against changing your name Bin, I though I made that clear. I don't want to change anyone's name since once we start doing it; everyone is going to want to do it. The point is, Bin will get his name changed when the next generation comes out, and then no more. To set the record straight, I sent Sabre a non-hostile letter letting him know I didn't care you him contradicting everything I said (and same for Dukie). Here is how it's going to be laid down. Me, nor Dukie will say anything derogative to Sabre, or about Sabre on the Network, and he will show us two the same courtesy.

I actually missed this thread. So many posts lately (thank you TechTV!). Thankfully, I just typed in "name" in the search and was brought directly to the thread.

It's funny, I never made the association of his name until I read the post. Being a computer geek, I thought of a file folder (like a cgi-bin). I'd put my input in, but everything that needs to be said has already been addressed by redink1.

Nice to know you thought of bin as in cgi-bin! Some others told me what they thought of bin, as in *dust*bin or *bin*ary, or bin*omial* and 'I've *bin* there'!
