I'm new at creating D-Mods, actually, I only ever tried it once and that was 2 months ago.

So, I need motivation. I have a lot of hobbies and I'd like to add one hobby: creating D-MODS. So tell me why I should create a D-mod and also tell me how long it takes to get used to the Dink Editors.

Yeah, that's it.

ps. I know some C++ and some DinkC commands so I'm ready to start!

I'm afraid Banana's are all the motivation we can give you....

EDIT: And welcome to the community! (When do we start taking off people's heads and dancing around them?)

If you already have even a slight grip on C, then you should be able to pick up DinkC pretty quickly.

All the motivation you need is to tell a story about a hero. A hero who likes booze, girls, and excessive banana binges.

If you need more than that, I can't help you. But welcome to the d-mod developers cult, and may many happy times await you.

Hmm...motivation...

1) Do it because it's fun
2) Do it because I SAY SO!
3) Do it for fame and glory.
4) Do it for the awards.
5) Do it for the praise of fellow dinkers.
6) Do it to express yourself.
7) Do it to slaughter, crush and destroy.

Hehe, yeah, thanks.
In fact, I already have a bit of an idea: I'm going to try 'moods', in which characters react differently on how much they like you. Like in Morrowind.
