pretty stupid question
Well this is a pretty stupid question but how to have a screenlock on a screen. Do I have to make a global variable, I just don't get it
Put the following code where you want to have a screenlock:
screenlock(1);
And presto! If you want to unlock the screen:
screenlock(0);
screenlock(1);
And presto! If you want to unlock the screen:
screenlock(0);
didn't it tell you that in the dinkc.txt document that came with dink smallwood?
Thanks magicman and I am very stupid as I ahve deleted the devlop section and am not daring to install it agsin so no damage to my DMod is caused, any suggestions what I might have to do to replace the files
Make you dmod save in a .dmod file and save it somewhere on you're hd and reinstall the dinkdirectory
scratch that, just download the dink c reference help file from simonk
Which is better DinkC refference by SimonK or the orignal one
the original one is the same with less stuff but in a .txt file

The WinHelp version I did has a few appendices which come in handy
I installed it and it started working but when I see the script for the bonca in that cave of Stonebrook there is no screenlock(0); or screenlock(1); command in the script but when I play the game there is a screenlock when you fight the bonca. I checked out the other screens which had screenlocks in it but found no one with the screenlock command
So any real ideas except Josh's why there is no screenlock used.

Look at EN-PBON.c in the source to see screenlock used.
The first bonca you fight isn't screenlocked, AFAIK.
