how do i find the sequence number of somthing you havent made a sprite yet

You must first examine the entrails of a slug while standing on five threaded copper wires. Only then will a true dawning of understanding appear around the edges of your mind...

..and if you hear the whispers talking... muttering... calling... for the new noobie King, then your time is at hand.

In the editor(or Windinkedit) browse through the sprites and you will see some blank spaces, or you can add them at the end. Once you know how the dink.ini file works its not too bad.
