I was trying to format the C drive, and i messed up the ROM BASIC, does anyone have a solution that doesn't involve an axe?

Thats not helping either . My laptop is a Toshiba, PII, and when I try to boot it up it says: "This BASIC was aborted, because this machine has no ROM BASIC

Use Toshiba's BASIC."

I don't care if it's helping or not. You're going to have to deal with it. And I get the idea that you didn't even read my post. I explained exactly what the cause for the error was but you didn't answer it.
