Small adventure
Having been unable to work on any D-mods for a while, I have been relishing the last few days, maessing aobut with the one I ws worlking on after CC2.
Having messed about with it a little more, and it's coming on nicely. Nothing spectacular, but as a good, solid d-mod.
The problem being that it is still taking time to get going, and it won't be finished before I go back to Uni. Ho hum.
Incidentally, this d-mod rips of LOT in a few ways.

I hate visions. I just cannot be bothered to go through all my already finished screens, changing the visions so my story can go in a particular direction.
The time comes for the implausible plot twist, which makes less sense than a fish wearing goggles..

Screw the plot twist. Screw the whole plot.
Let's stick with something very simple, and see where we go from there. Some evil she dog has kidnapped King Daniels niece (Oh no!), and you must go to another land to rescue her.
You don't get much more simple than that, do ya?

Come on Sabre, now you're not trying anymore
Just get this released

Just get this released

Will do. Or at least, I'll release something before I go back to Uni.
I doubt it will hit Beta. That should be when the d-mod is finished, but just needs extensive testing (IMHO).
This will probably just end up being a demo/part 1 sort of thang.

And the sad truth about demo's is that they hardly get finished

Very true, but think of the quality of those that have been finished. Prophecy of the Ancients, Stone of Balance, and... umm... Cloud Castle 2.
Hmm... I thought there were more... but I think those 3 make a decent enough example.

Have just about finished the mapping of the Whispering Woods. Man, does my spine hurt... it actually feels like this d-mod is sucking my life-force from inside my body. Eww.
Now, I just need to connect this up with a REASON to go into the woods. Looking for somebody is the most probable solution. Maybe a wizard, or a lost child.
Hmmm.

This doesn't look like it's going to be a small adventure after all. Ah well. Big adventures are better, anywho.
