Best example of a good romp
The four highest rated romps are Dink goes Boating, Cycles of Evil, Mayhem, and Twins. Each of these is very, very unusual in its own way. So unusual that almost no one has put out a file similar to any of these four. The question, then, is which dmod is the best example of a good, classic romp. Cloud Castle? RotD 2? Creeping Sands?
(I'm inclined to say CC, despite the hardness bugs.)

Why, thank you.
I too (though I'm hugely biased) would say CC.
I didn't really like TCS at all, with the "hilarious comedy sound effects" and all that. Just too much fighting of shootty scorpions for my liking.
I think RotD2 is pretty good as well, if I remember correctly.
In short, it's a hard choice. Pick CC.

The best example of a good romp would be RotD2 in my opinion. Sorry Sabre

I remember liking the ducks too, so RotD2. (not just the ducks, but the plot and so forth.. anyway.)

I found RotD 2 kind of boring... you don't accomplish much.
Milderr 3 is the most underrated file on this site, but quite unusual in its own way, and certainly less classic than CC or RotD,

Did you guys forget "Bloop the Fish"? Joking!
Hm...I thought "Cloud Castle" and the "Creeping Sands" were Quests...or maybe I just like to play them longer...
Ya, I would say Cloud Castle...there are just so many funnies in it...especially at the bar. Its linear, but interesting with combat and puzzles. Way to go Sabretrout.
Sincerely,

*Technically* CC is a quest, but it has a small map and little gets accomplished, so I think we can call it a romp. TCS, is technically a romp, but in terms of size and playtime, it borders on being a quest.
Cloud Castle is borderline Romp/Quest, as it takes about an hour to complete. It should be a romp really, but I wanted to call it a quest.
I see it as a romp though, and I'm glad you all liked it.
