Dink Resources...
Ok guys...Im about to finish playing all the decent or better D-Mods and when I do I plan to learn how to and make a D-Mod. First I need to download all the stuff that makes it easier and adds more options.
So where should I start? What music files? What help files? What graphics packs? Are some comprehensive or do I have to download multiple to get everything?
Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

Dink goes Boating by Simonk is a very good place to start.
The 374 (or however many it is) midi pack by James Perley (I think...) is by far the best midi selection available.
I wouldn't get any graphics packs to start with, as getting to grips with using the original graphics in new and interesting ways (through changing the size, or trimming them) is an excellent idea.

WinDinkEdit is a good map editor which does not do everything DinkEdit does, but has a better layout for all of the basic stuff.
EasyDinkC is a script editor. It's a notepad with script indenter, error-check (sorta...), and color codes. Also there are three menu's on the bottom of the screen from which you can select almost every DinkC function.
DinkC Reference (Windows Help File) is a help file with information on every DinkC function.
About music files, graphics packs or source codes: get as much as possible, and just see if you want to use them.
EDIT:
And "The Rudiments of Scripting"

Ok guys I got all the stuff mentioned. Now I need to install it and USE it. I'll start tomorrow.
What about the graphics packs? Do I just download them and copy the graphics to the Dink Smallwood folder?
Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller
