cracker barrel
as my expanding town is always looking for ways to satisy anyone with taste buds that passes by, we built a cracker barrel sometime around a year or so ago. maybe it was two, i can't remember. while being a restaraunt i avoided somewhat for the most part at first, i now recall having seen a slightly smaller chain of cracker barrel in joint operation with quite a large restaraunt by the name of brown's in southwestern arkansas. this chain sold all kind of candies, gags, and gifts, but wasn't actually any kind of diner. anyway, last night my family took me there, and i realized that it's really dang good cooking. i was wondering if anyone else has ever been to this place or even heard of it.
Cool... while I've usually found Cracker Barrel to be good, I've also found it to be overpriced. As in, the the food isn't good enough to justify the expense. But it's been quite a long time since I was last at one.
Ya I visited some while on the way to Florida. Great food and funny little shops they have. I somehow felt the environs were threatening though.
