Programming.
who of the dinkers have programming experience.??
I can do QBasic and DinkC pretty well, but I also know some HTML/Javascript/php/css.
me too, i also did Qbasic, php, javascript, java, dinkc, c++, html, css etc
Yeah, various languages like Java and C++ (plus stuff like Javascript, HTML) or very basic stuff I may have done a long time ago.
And people, DinkC isn't a programming language. If that counts, I can also count the Grand Theft Auto 2 scripting language and languages like that

Then count Game Maker Language too
And a very tiny little bit of the Morrowind Scripting Language.
Anyway, HTML and CSS aren't really programming languages either

yeah, that's why i didn't said them in my first post, that would make visual pinball language count too
...

i am familiar with Delphi PE
I have knowledge of C++, Visual Basic .NET and SQL.
Not as elaborate as I would like it to be, but I can write some pretty nifty stuff with it.
No Windemere kinda stuff though

Object Pascal just kicks ass... Once I created a shooting range style "game" with it... Ah, that was just pure sweetness and n00biness, sounds stolen from CS and weapon graphics made with Paint. I still nearly puke when I think about it.
I used to be good with old fashioned Basic. I'm hoping Dink c++ will be close enough to C++ to make learning that easier. I'm just now starting to dabble in Python (with Blender).
I've almost taken a half semester of C++. I still don't know that much but I can do stupid simple things like make a program that can figure out slopes, area of objects, averages, etc.
C/C++, looking at D, PHP, bit of Perl, BASIC (haha), Lua; HTML, CSS2, XML, TeX (which aren't real languages); sh, a bit of Pascal, wx.
I *REFUSE* to touch Java.

I use toothpicks, but hope to upgrade to matches one day... they can light up.
I tried to learn QBasic when i had a an old computer with Windows 3.11 and DOS, but when i got this new supercomputer, i stopped trying and started using The Games factory
. Oh, i also try to learn HTML and that MW thing...And of course, DinkC.

I love QBasic. I made a text-based adventure-engine with it. Quite easy to do, but that was like 4 years ago
"go hallway", "talk soldier", "use rope with hook"... ahhh happy thoughts

Java, c++, and basic(TI-83). Woot for my text base first person shooter!
I can write "Boobies" on a calculator.
I don't even have to use a pen anymore!!

Man, too easy. 5318008. I wonder if that happens to be Sabre's password...
