Sprites and hardbox
I'm on with a very simple map screen - one house, some trees and bushes and some pieces of grass. When I pick up some of the tree sprites to move them (change the location) or make a hardbox, another tree is moved or get the hardbox. All the sprites are far from each other, so there is no chance I pick the wrong tree. What's wrong? Can anybody please help?

You might be accidentaly picking up sprites on the neiboring screen.
Oh ya , try Windinkedit. Once you get used to it stuff like that is much easier.

sometimes depth dots to control sprite pickup ranges are mysteriously moved to weird random places for me...try windinkedit and see if that helps.
No, I know I pic the correct sprite. Besides, I only have one screen so far.
I'm not very fond of Windinkedit, so I rather work with the main Dink Edit program. Doesen't anybody knows why this happens??
