I had the same problem. Asuming you do have FrontEnd installed.
When you open the zipped game, use Winzip. Instead of dragging the files into the directory you installed Dink Smallwood, use the extract button, as this puts all the folders in as well (you can't see folders in winzip). The Network used to have a guide for installing MODS. Anyway good luck.
If this doesn't work, go and annoy Redink1.
