Dink Sht The Mermaid - Help

Ok, I shot a fireball @ the mermaid when I first encountered her. How do I get her back to get Thunder Strike magic? I've been struck with it once - pretty cool. Also, people in the Mountain village keep telling me to slay a dragon. Where the freak is a dragon? Many TIA! 
Hate to tell you this, but if you've hurt or insulted the mermaid... you are never getting thunder strike magic (until you reach end world where you can get it in a secret area instead of Deus Strike Magic - which is even better than thunder strike) - the moral of this is... don't hurt mermaids!
As for the dragon... it's a secret area too. You can get to it from either port town (blow up something underground) or from end world (if you didn't get to it in Port Town).
