Went to play this one and got a black screen with the following 'couldn't find one of the tilescreens'

You should use FreeDink to play it. The dmod gives that error with regular Dink, for some reason. FreeDink tends to work better on newer versions of Windows in any case, so using that for playing dmods in general isn't a bad idea. (I've completely moved over myself)
