Hey guys! I made another iPhone game.
It's called "Word Twist!", and it's a word game, and it's really fun... at least I think so... You should check it out!

I'll port it to android soon, I just have to write some extra code to take wider devices into account... and I'm feeling lazy... oh well.

I don't have anything with iOS 5.0

I'm sure you have a later os? I am running the latest and it works fine, iOS 5 is just the minimum requirement

I have a second generation iPod. It can't support any iOS past like 4.2(if that).

Ooh too bad

Addicting! Part of that is that each game only lasts a minute. It's short enough to squeeze the game into spare moments but also short enough to leave you wanting more, so I like how easy it is to start a new game. I've played a few dozen rounds. My high score is 224, but I normally score in the 80 to 160 range.

One thing that's annoying is when the board ends up with no vowels, so you're stuck. I don't know if I would change that, though. Sometimes a game needs a random factor that makes it possible to get stuck but also keeps the game from being too easy.

Also your dictionary needs the word Zen.

Yeah, it's really annoying when your out of vowels. :/
I was thinking of making sure that there always is one, but knowing that you could abuse it...

My best tipis learn the words with no vowels! Like "Hmm", "Pfft", "Tsktsk" etc

Interesting, I didn't know you could use words like that. I was surprised that it allowed two-letter words, but with such a small board that's a very good thing.

Where did you get the dictionary?

I got the word list off the internet someplace, and then removed the one letter words and 10+ letter words.

Isn't there already something called "WordTwist"?
