Re: Author's Insight episode 1: Leprochaun
Hi Dinkers and welcome to the first of a new series of videos on DSPT - Author's Insight. The idea behind this series comes from Leprochaun, so I thought what better way to kick it off than to have the mastermind behind the series be the first Author featured?
In these videos you can expect some questions surrounding Dmod development, some interesting conversation about design choice and also a demonstration from the author of how they go about certain situations in Dmod development.

Lovely idea. Very interesting to see how people go about putting maps together.
Exciting! Real-time DMOD-making action. The individual dark trees were in AGAE, yes. I wish I'd known about them when I was doing my initial work on Malachi; it would have made life easier. Working with the tree tiles all the time is a hassle.
I don't have the courage to just start pasting sprites when I make a map. If I do, it'll be a disaster. This is probably why an ordinary map screen can take me an hour or more.
Leprochaun has contributed a lot to this community. I'm glad somebody's still writing reviews.
Lordy, Rob, you do a lot of videos. You're earning your cookies.

Videos are just one side of the coin Coco, gotta remember he's also making his own Dmod in the shadows.
Was an interesting and insightful watch, that's for sure, and a nice perspective on how one might work towards creating a Dmod for us all to enjoy.

I think I actually pulled them from Where's Likko? because dinkdude95 made a really cool forest with them that made me want to make one of my own like it. He may have pulled the tree from AGAE, I'm not sure.
Are you sure - i also darkened those trees and sent them to u when i did the blue graphics for you
Theyre made for my as yet unreleased dmod ASQ

I looked through what you sent me and I can't find that tree. I don't think you sent it to me.
