Otakus
I just wanna know if there is any otakus besides me in TDN.
And if you're wondering what the hell is otaku, it's someone who really loves anime and/or manga.

I'm no otaku but to clarify things a bit, legendary:
"really loves" should be "absurdly obsessed". It's about anime (mostly) being their world and everything.
Note that otaku can apply to pretty much anything as long as you're deeply obsessed with it.
It sounds pretty awesome doesn't it?

Indeed, it does.
Sorry, my bad.
Let me explain it better.
Originally お宅 otaku meant house - and as nerds and geeks tend to hang out in their house the word for them became Otaku.
In Japanese Otaku generally refers to a nerd of some sort - most usually a computer nerd with no physical abilities who is heavily into reading and other solitary pursuits. It can also refer to someone who has an unhealthy obsession for anything that is unphysical.
In Western cultures the word Otaku has been taken to refer to people who are specifically into Japanese Anime, Games and Cosplay.
So, there you go!

I watch a lot of anime, but I don't think that makes me an otaku.
Pretty sure that just makes you an otaku in denial, Leprochaun.

Does it? I figured there was more to being an otaku than just watching heaps of anime.
One could consider me both a video game otaku and a literary otaku.
I haven't seen some good anime in a while unless its my friends stick animations, any good websites that can work on a phone?
