Your opinion on cheats in video games?
I find them to be unnecessary and too noob friendly.
I often use cheats when I just want to play the game for the hell of it. I don't use them when I'm serious.
I only use cheats in 2 games, mercenaries, only cause mayhem for the enemy.
I like cheats that are not just there to beat the game easier but also interesting enough to make things fun!
Like setting acrobatics to 999 in Morrowind. Ohhh boy was that fun when I was younger.

But after you've beaten the game, have fun.

There are 'cheats' in the Halo games. You have to find these out of place skulls and grab them. Finding them gives you a hindrance and makes the game harder.
I think I cheated in Dink before, on a 2nd or 3rd play, it was fun killing everything with my fists and other things.
cheats??? what are they???

Cheats are fun after you've finished a game. They make you enjoy the game in a different way, especially when you have easter egg cheats and stuff or silly stuff like in Morrowind (crazy fast running, crazy high jumping, create ridiculous spells killing anything within a really wide range, etc).
And cheats used to be necessary, or at least useful, for developers to make testing the game easier.
