Why people use the chat so rarely, if it's just like the forums, but instantaneous and so the answers are faster?

I think the difference in time zones really hurts it. Though currently there's really not much in it to be hurt.

Makes some sense, but it's quite sad as we have a forum-based comunity, and forum-based only.

People should just lurk into the chat a few times, the same times they take to post in the forum...

I used to do that on my other computer with one of those alternate IRC clients. Could always look at logging that back on if you feel it really necessary.

Most people can't get into the chat is my guess, I can occasionally get on, but don't because of the weirdos there, Sorry everyone.
