The Dink Network

A while ago I posted about a certain japanese game, entitled (in typical japanese fashion) "Perfect CherryBlossom". This game is mental, you gets hundreds of bullets coming at you at once....literally!

Arik recently bought the most similar game I have seen, Ikaruga for the gamecube. This game is awesome...if a little bit hard, anybody else played this? It truly is the shooters shooter.

Has anybody played it then? It can't just be me...pity we don't have any Japanese Dinkers...

I haven't played Ikaruga, unfortunately, but I love "shmups"... and Ikaruga looks excellent. I plan to get a 'cube someday, and perhaps I'll pick up the game along with it.

I played the Perfect Cherry Blossom, it was pretty good except for the Japanese that wouldn't display on my computer. But one question, why are these floating people shooting bullets at eachother? When the boss and the player talk to eachother they both look like they're laughing and having fun. Then they suddenly launch into a battle to the death.

It's Japanese...enough said!

Ikaruga is funky, and a bit mad to say the least...the graphics are pretty nice too!
