Hey you guys, I'm looking into self publishing a book I've written. I'm not sure what exactly I'm supposed to do, so if anyone has any ideas on how to do so, please let me know.

Actually, it's a four book series called the Wolfen Saga, which details the stories of a family who lives in a post-apocalyptic Earth that is slowly coming back to life. The story focuses on the transition from a dying world filled with violence and bloodshed caused by the Blood War, which is fought between creatures called Wolfen, and strange blood-sucking creatures called 'Vampire', and into a lush world that is, for all intents and purposes, very much like medieval times.
I am currently writing the third book, Hexen, and am getting ready to publish the first, Wolfen.
The books, as I plan on releasing them, are called Wolfen, Draken, Hexen, and Fallen.

Yes, this is a book with Werewolves and Vampires in it, but it's not at all stereotypical.

In Belgium there are some selfpublishing services available, that allow you to publish through their platform and store, for a small cut of course. I think maybe Amazon might have something similar? If a tiny country like Belgium has these services I'm sure you can find plenty in the US

Kindle & Smashwords are probably the best places to look for self publishing outlets.

I'd be wary of self publishing without having savaged your book apart time and time again. And then asked someone else to savage it. Preferably someone who doesn't like you.

What do all the book titles mean? Also good luck with your self Publishing, if you get rich and famous maybe get some DinkMeets up, and get a duck farm.

Well, 'Wolfen' refers to wolves, 'Draken' refers to dragons, 'Hexen' is German for witches, and 'Fallen' is a word that has 'en' at the end. (Though, it's more of a choice because of what the last book will be.)

Are you German at all, also if you just fallen because it had en at the end, personally I hope it has falling in it somewhere.

I don't have to be German to use the language, Dack, and there are other reasons for using 'Fallen' as a title. Said reasons are potential spoilers.

Hexen is German for witches, but it's not written like that xD Still, I like the nomenclature you're going for.

I prefer to write in phonetic, since most people on this side of the world wouldn't know how certain letters would be pronounced. I personally didn't know how that large 'B' looking letter was pronounced until I asked a foreign exchange student from Germany.

I'd say your titles are at least slightly better than Elemental Dragons 1: Earth Dragon, Elemental Dragons 2: Air Dragon, etc.

The International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) is used as the basis for the phonetic transcription of speech. It is based on the Latin alphabet and is able to transcribe most features of speech such as consonants, vowels, and suprasegmental features. Every documented phoneme available within the known languages in the world is assigned its own corresponding symbol.
