Funny. I played both the R version and the M version and I had a little problem in the R version. I couldn't buy the death star in the M version because I hadn't enough money, so I wanted to buy it when I played the R version. Well, it seems I spent too much time killing monsters, because when I finished the game, I had reached level 18 and I couldn't see the end of my lifebar. This made the game a bit too easy at the end. I hope SimonK will make a longer lifebar in Necromancer.

BTW, it seems the secret area in Portown ( accessible by destroying a red barrel ) is only available in the M version...

That's not a secret place, it is accesible in the R version in the downstairs of the brothel

I'm sorry, I'm not talking about the area close to the dragon realm, but about the SECRET area. In the secret area, you can get two superpotions and two MK2 potions. And it is accessible only in the M version, by destroying a red barrel near the brothel.

EDIT : If you try to destroy it in the R version, Dink says 'Hmm, another unbreakable barrel!'.
