Your favorite boss fights.
Admit it, there are some really cool boss fights in video games. It doesn't matter if it's early Final Fantasy or something recent. I want all of you to post one or more of your favorite battles. Explain who you fought and what game, and why you loved it.
One of my personal favorites is the Goht battle in Legend of Zelda: Majroa's Mask. In this particular battle, Link is in the form of a Goron via a transformation mask. You use a fire arrow to unfreeze a massive beast, to which it runs past you kicking large boulders and shooting lightning at you. You then have to roll around behind it, sprouting giant metal spikes (Makes sense in context) and having to ram into it like you're on the world's most fun racetrack.

Hmm.. OK.
1. Valkyria Chronicles 2 - The Final Battle (Le boss is Baldren Gassenarl as a Valkyria). The music was so moving and it was so awesome and all and I think I cried once or twice.
2. Valkyria Chronicles 2 - VIP Escort (Le boss is Dirk Gassenarl). This was the first difficulty spike in the game and you had to be on your toes throughout because if the APC you were transporting blew up...
3. Valkyria Chronicles 2 - Defending Lanseal (Le boss is, again, Dirk Gassenarl). I loved being able to play in the Lanseal building, even if this mission was hard as hell.
More, but all of them are from Valkyria Chronicles 2 as well.

I want to make a new one - I want to make MsDINK SMITES DACK hehe it will be glorious !! All new fight scene, BLAHD lots of Blaaahd!
Dack takes it in the gizzard, Skorniekins looses his head, Zed gets a hug, sword may or may not expire and leppy gets a hair cut OHH MAHH GAWSH! the pain the pain
I will shoot streaks of what I hope is lightening (and not curry) from my arse - fire bolts from my eyes and my glistening white teeth will blind anyone stoopid enough to look Oh it will be glorious indeed!

No one can beat me hahaha, wait is that a turtle shell!
Hmm, there's some that come to mind.
Schwartz from Tales of Legendia. Grune's speech before the battle made it all the more epic. The music enhanced it as well. The battle itself was no pushover, VERY hard in my opinion. Such an adrenaline rush.
The Domz King from Beyond Good & Evil. Combination of unique boss moves (such as reversing your controls -- in an action game...) and epic music makes this one stand out for me.
Mysterious Figure from Kingdom Hears Birth By Sleep. The music and the insane difficulty make it as memorable as any boss fight could be.
There are actually plenty of others that are streaming into my memories... Many Zone of the Enders 2 boss battles, the Digital Devil Saga final bosses, ...
I even limited my thinking to just final bosses...
One more to be cheesy and pick one from World of Warcraft... Freya 25 man on heroic
Reflex and attention overload xD

I like youtube vids where people fight with their bosses better.
I've been playing plenty of mainstream action games but, I can't say any one of them are my favourite. I guess the final boss fights in FF7 will have to do. Yeah, and I think the boss fight in Dink Smallwood had potential to be a very good one. With all the suspense.

Not necessarily a favourite, but a classic bossfight that came to my mind is Gnasty Gnorc from Spyro the Dragon. Another one would be Ripper Roo from the Crash Bandicoot -series.
the dahaka from prince of persia...
Msdink, that should be a spell in every RPG.
