The Dink Network

I've killed young Dink, and Alessa says we've got the key, but I dont see it in my inventory. I'm not sure where or how to use it. Any help will be appreciated.

The key doesn't show up in the inventory. After you kill young Dink, pick up the scroll he dropped.

How do I use the key?

You automatically use the key when you progress far enough.

Maybe I'm just not going to the right place. Thanks for your help. I'll go look around some more.

I cant find the entrance to the Dragons Cave. The walkthrough says its at a rock with scratches where the game first began. I've gone to the area where the game began, and to the rock with a face etched into it, but nothings happening.
I've also walked around the whole game looking at, blowwing up, burning down, and kicking every rock, cactus, or critter I've come across. Still, I cant figgure out how to get into the Dragons Cave.
please help.

Did you talk to Sahib about Cthilmor? If you did, you should have gotten the option to pick either Alessa, Fabian or Dertin to come with you. Then you need to go to that rock.

Yup....and I've been to the rock with both Alessa and Fabian. According to the walkthrough,I've done everything I'm supposed to do up to this point, and as near as I can tell, I've done everything, and gathered all things possible to do so far. I think maybe I've got a glitch....I'm starting the game from scratch. Again, thank you for your help...
