Bridges? how do they work
Im making a D-mod and you have well to cross this bridge heh like alot of others im kinda new to making them so i was woundering how you make it so you can walk across them
yes lots of commets

Ok, they are a pain in the ass to make ( depth que, hardness, etc... )
Find the spot where you want a bridge,
press Space and you will see a line ( the hardness line, it follows the river )
press "E" when in object mode and place the bridge parts, press "H" in tile mode and press "[" ad "]" to scroll between hardness tiles. Place them on the bridge ( dink cannot walk on the white blocks )
if you place them on the river hardness line it will disappear ( in that tile )

I just knew I saw that question not too long ago... since I answered it.

This is from one of the tutorials.
If you want to add a bridge all you have to do is to "Delete" the hardness from where you want the bridge to start, and from where you want the bridge to end. Next you have insert the sprites for the bridges, set their hardness to 1, and "depth que" to -10. Also you have to add sprites on the sides of the bridge so that you can’t walk onto the water. If you're smart you'll set these sprites "Type" to 2 (invisible).
If you're adding a horizontal bridge then the railing should not have the "depth que" set to -10, or you'll be able to walk on top of it.
How do I make a bridge that works right?
First get into hardness-tile-edit-mode and copy an empty tile over the edge of the water where the bridge crosses. Now Dink can walk across, but once he is on the bridge he can also walk out into the water. So you need to put either hard tiles or hard sprites on the sides. I find sprites work better.
