Mistake #1 in D-Mod making: Asking others for inspirations, ideas and suggestions.
Do what you want, it's your D-Mod. And your first one, on top of that.

Don't listen to Skull. He doesn't know what he's talking about. Make a D-Mod in which you play as a duck playing a D-Mod in which you play as Dink with duck transformation abilities, who is playing a D-Mod in which you play as a duck with Dink transformation abilities.
Or not. Listening to Skull works too.

I have lots of ideas, but I'm selfishly keeping them a secret. 
Just think about things you like: books, games, movies, etc. and try to incorporate them into dink. Then you will have your dmod idea.

Yeah, you probably have great ideas your self. Hell, making a D-mod feels like you are the god!
