I've met a titchy obstacle adding graphics and now I'm shouting I is squiffled.
These lines are in the Dink.ini I've put my graphics in graphics/bubba.
They are named bubba- 01, bubba- 02, bubba- 03, bubba- 04.
load_sequence_now graphics\bubba\bubba- 01 NOTANIM
load_sequence_now graphics\bubba\bubba- 02 NOTANIM
load_sequence_now graphics\bubba\bubba- 03 NOTANIM
load_sequence_now graphics\bubba\bubba- 04 NOTANIM

They aren't in the editor, but there are four empty white squares at the start of the sprite selection screen in the editor.
Can anyone help?

A) No spaces between the dash and the number in the graphics name. (bubba-01: yes. bubba- 01: no.)

B) It isn't necessary to include all the files in your .ini lines.
load_sequence_now graphics\bubba\bubba- <sequence slot> NOTANIM will work, and since sequence slots 01-04 are in the very beginning, that's what's messing you up.

So: Rename your files, take out the last three lines, change the 01 to the sequence slot you want.

Yes, now the sequence is loaded. Tanks muchly.
Sorry if I make too many dev threads, but once a problem is solved most people don't open the dev thread when you ask another question.

They are awesome

They let me know that the community is still D-Modding.
They're a good way to keep my knowledge of DinkC from fading.
Every time I help someone I get a quickening.

Which graphics pack is which?
In which graphic's pack are the springer and the fairy included?

Fairies are already packaged (sequence 261 and 263), I can't remember about the springer though...I'm almost positive it was one of SimonK's though.

Obviously
Never found the fairy, thanks for telling. Were they ever used in the original Dink? I think not.

Nope. My guess is they were going to be used in one of the unfinished areas, like the large inaccessible area East of Windemere.

Dink is unfinished in many areas, which makes it even more endearing.
And the thing that Skull has in his avatar? Where is THAT?

I'm pretty sure it was in the stones of balance, it might of also been in mystery island, but I never completed that.

It was in Pilgrim's Quest. My avatar, I mean. As were the Springers.

Speaking of Mystery Island, why don't we have the robots and the Ninja Robot as avatar options?

What if we do have the Ninja Robot, but his ninja skills are so amazing we can't see him?
