I agree there's potential there. Aren't there games like that?

Bottom line, though, I think a game should be created because it makes for a nice setting and story- not for the excuse to get to slaughter those dang Americans/Russians/Arabs.

I think that they should make a Resident Evil and Parasite Eve crossover. Resident Eve... no, Parasite Evil... um.
And I think that in these games they shouldn't make it racist/countryist. Instead they either make it based on a true happening, like Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater was based on the Cold War.
Or make up some new army and countries for themselves, like they did in Valkyria Chronicles 2.

American forces invade Siberia slautering everyone in their path
You play as um.... Nikolai Dragovich or something like that
the first levels should be set in siberia and then last levels on US soil.

I think we should give up the idea of humanity beating each other up all day and make something like a game about a zombie apocalypse, or alien invasion. It encourages humanity to be united.
How about this:
Hideous creatures descend on Manhattan, created from the results of a virus created by a pharmaceutical enterprise. A small group of resistance fighters are humanity's last hope for survival.
I took the plots of Parasite Eve: The 3rd Birthday, Resident Evil 2 and Resistance Retribution, and melded them together. How bout that!

and the americans dont like peace they only like WAR AND MORE WAR just look at the COD games

Lol, I remember back when I was 8, me and my friend thought about a game where instead of zombies, you would go around shooting disabled people (basically using anything as a weapon). Yes, I know that's horrible.

I think the game could be about sex-fiend from Kazakhstan who's mission is to have sex with everything. It wouldn't necessarily be graphic, just insinuated.

On a more serious note, I would be interested in a game that plays from the perspective of a "bad guy" ie: NAZI or Al Qaeda. If properly done, this could be very enlightening. I, for one, tire of the "black-and-white" games where the American represents absolute good and anyone else is either a lackey/ adoring fan or absolute evil.

It wouldn't sell as much, maybe if you could choose what country to play as. Like if there were three different playable stories. That'd be cool. It also give a lot of people different views than just the american version.

I think that is could be a good idea, as long as it's not an excuse to kill American people. History is written by the victor, so a lot of what we think we know is up for debate. You could easily take battles from WWII that the Germans or the Japanese or any other Axis powers won, put it in their point of view. As I've stated, it's not a bad idea, it's very original, but you'd have to make it interesting and fun. Don't make it just so you can kill Americans, or it would never sell well.

I downloaded Half-Life and the Half-Life Zombie Edition modifification and it does just that.

Actually, the oil companies pay to dig for oil there, and then the people living there realize they could of had a lot more money if they didn't sell the land and dig themselves, so some of them attack us, thus spurring a war. That did happen. It's the companies selfishness though that caused it.

Maybe you shouldn't hate on americans in general, but just the rich people that control things.

Hmmm. I, for one, don't see the point of a game in which you urinate on people. Gore is a different matter for me - I loved Fallout 3's depictions, yet I didn't install any gore mods for Oblivion. I guess with gore in games, I'll take it or leave it. I haven't played Postal, and from what I've read it sounds mind-numbingly boring.

In other news, southern states = awesome accent, awesome music.

Firstly, there are many different American accents. Secondly, even if there were only one, it would still be an American accent.

While some American accents I do find hard to bear, they're nothing on Australian accents.

And some American accents are pure pleasure to listen to - as schnapper said, Southern American accents are awesome.
