Darklands?
Does anyone know more in depth about the Darklands, or a cool history about them?
Yes. When the Ancient Seth, master of Fire and Brim, awoke, he fried the lush, verdant greenlands to a crisp that resembled burnt toast spread with wet cigarette ash and corrupting its' once noble inhabitants. Dinks' house burning down was a knock-on effect of the sudden rise in temperature, as was the melting of the ice in the north which resulted in the end of the goblin war and the wizard being trapped in the northlands.

The darklands were created as a prison for the ancients. Exept the ancients lost funding and gave it to the weakest of there ranks Seth. After the fall of the ancients and when Seth took his rightful throne as the duke of badass second only to skull the king of the badass. One day one of his disipels approached him and simply said "oh Seth duke of badass the plan has failed all is lost". Of course he was talking about the assassination of weak dink but only succeeded in burning the house down with the mom in it. Seth was infuriated and summend all the power he could muster. And then he sent a fireball the size of the earths core and killed every living thing in the darklands. So he recruited evil and expendable monsters tonaid him instead of weak minded humans. And so on the darklands became what dink knows it to be hell on earth.
I was supposed to do a Dink Mysteries episode of Darklands before I resigned.
The Darklands are a realm of dead or decaying life. Where only the strongest creatures may survive. Once in a while a human being will find their way in without the use of a proper transportation device. (I.e. the thing Dink uses to get in and out of the Darklands.) When that human dies, their spirit is infused with the corruption of the land and they become murderous, mindless beings that can say only what their last thoughts were. Here lies the lair of the Ancient, Seth, who plots, it's unknown as to what he plots, but it involves the burning of a house and the death of a young pig farmer turned hero.

So if Dink dies, he'll jump outta the screen saying, "Mommy, mommy!" when he's thinking of his house burning?
