Anyway, I need some help cause I forgot. What was the script command to make Dink play avi files? Or is it even possible with the newer versions, anymore?

Yes, it was. I remember. Don't you try to deny!
In fact, the original game used an avi opening it its CD version and an RTSoft avi opening logo thingy in its demos.
Some D-Mods even have used it! I remember fiddling around with some line of code a few years back and almost managing to get it working, but I can't remember that code line with this infernal memory!

"Playavi", maybe it's this you recall?
If it is, I'm sorry to inform you that it was removed from the 1.08+. In earlier version of Dink, this was used to call external dplay.exe files to play avi movies. It was removed because it didn't work too well, if I remember correctly.

It can be done in Aural+ by using playmidi.
IIRC it pops up in a separate window and you need to manually exit it when the movie's finished to regain control in the game.
playmidi("movie.avi");

And I believe it's been taken out of either 1.08 or freedink, possibly both. Also, I'm too lazy to verify this myself.
EDIT: erp, that said playmidi. 1.06 had a playavi() command that worked similarly.

Dinkmovie2000 project was dangerous for the computer and was removed.
