well playing this D-mod for about the third time but never beaten the quest of "farmer Bob's house" so wonder what are good stats and equipment to do that quest? I should not out that i declined the offr of the stat boost but did by the herb boots(even though the salesman more or less calls me a wuss for it)

If you bought the herb boots, the game should be a breeze of easy-ness so you shouldn't have that much of a problem with Farmer Bob. Find one of the bombs and blow up the rock in the basement for the Ice Orb spell and you should be fine. Aside from getting all the powerups, spending some level up points in Health or defense could help as you get a hefty STR bonus from the boots.

Without the boots I recommend:

Level 5+
Clawsword or SLASHMASTER
Ice Orb and/or Hellfire spell
All powerups in the game (The powerups folks miss out the most are the three hidden ones in the forest)
Some level up points spent on Health and Defense
Full inventory of Elixers.
Patience and awesomeness.

OK thanks well I missed out on the ice-orb spell because i got in the basement before i found bomb(dunno if i could get back in it or where to get new bombs). And well i got the boots but not nearly enough base strength(nor seem to get any stat bonus from them besides speed(unless that was included in a later update then i have). also need 1 more stat bonus from the forest. But will find it soon enough(still in the witch helping quest for this 3rd play-trough)

Yeah, try to find one bomb for the basement as the Ice Orb spell is pwnage and counts towards The Reward at the end. (Press N in-game for more info on that) The boots gives +4 STR when worn.

EDIT: Oh, and you'll also get a STR potion for blowing up the rock.

Ok I will do so(will update the game to the latest and then start again still will decline the stat boost offer and still will take the boots though(seems i had the initial release on my comp and because i didn't have the statboost on boots) And now i am curious does the bow count to the reward too?

Yeah, download the latest one. v1.0 sucks.

Yup, the bow counts. Everything that shows when you press the N key counts towards the reward. Throwing axes doesn't count, neither do hearts that refill hp and food that drops from monsters.

Ok then still will pic them up as they are handy in the right areas(used them the first time to kill the boss the second time i pulverized him with the herb boots even if was only version 1.0)
